What a difference a year makes. Heading into the final match of the division phase of this year's Bath Summer league it was first vs second place with a win securing promotion. Kingwood Kardinals had one win over 3rd place but only 6 points difference. Short of male players and despite the team putting in a big shift the Kingswood Kardinals suffered a heavy loss 12-3 and feared promotion had slipped away.

BUT... news then broke that the 3rd place team had suffered a shock defeat meaning the Kingswood Kardinals have secured promotion! From picking up only one win last year to securing promotion has been a fantastic team effort that the touch team rightly should be proud of.

With two teams entered into the league this Summer and both teams performing well, we now have, for the first time ever, the opportunity to compete in both Plate and Bowl groups.

It'll be a challenging few weeks but a journey this ambitious set of players are more than up for!
